Central Coast Favourites

As local buyer’s agents, we know the Central Coast has plenty of brilliant places to eat and drink and an abundance of things to do and see but we’re aiming to inspire those not so familiar with the Central Coast to try something new or check out some of our personal favourites.

Bryson Buyers Agent Central Coast

Our team’s top recommendations are:

The Boathouse Hotel, Patonga
Enjoy the scenic drive down to Patonga, or arrive via Ferry from Palm Beach and enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Boathouse Hotel. Enjoy a meal or drink and take in the beautiful ocean view or be inspired by their stunning interiors – It’s a great place to meet with friends or family. Be sure to try their chicken parmigiana – Mitch’s personal favourite, we think it’s the best on the Coast.

Remy & Co, Erina
The best Italian you’ll find on the Central Coast! Fresh, simple, authentic handmade pastas, paired with delicious wines will leave you feeling very satisfied. Mitch’s favourite dish? He can’t go past their ‘Poor Man’s’ pasta. It is an absolute must try, prepared and served at your table in their pecorino wheel. And be sure to save room for their mouth-watering desserts!

Shelly Beach Golf Club
A picturesque public golf course and club by the ocean. A family friendly venue, fantastic for a refreshing beer, a meal and great for a casual round of golf.

The Lucky Bee, Ettalong
The Central Coast’s finest South-East Asian restaurant and cocktail bar! If you haven’t already, do yourself a favour and indulge in lunch or dinner here while you enjoy a cocktail or two with family or friends. Their fried eggplant is an absolute must try!

Bells Day Spa, Killcare
Feeling stressed? Relax and unwind at this luxurious spa sanctuary. Treat yourself to a massage or facial (or both) and give your mind and body the rest and restore it deserves. Dee’s favourite treatment? The iKOU Mindful Wellness package which combines a full body aromatherapy massage and an organic deep cell hydration facial.

Little Miss Mezza, Gosford
A delightful mix of Middle Eastern and Modern Australian. From the intricately planned food and cocktail menu and the beautiful internal fitout and atmosphere – you’ll be left feeling ‘wowed’ after enjoying a beautiful meal here. Local’s night every Tuesday and Wednesday makes for the perfect mid-week dinner. Dee’s choice of cocktail? She can’t go past a classic lychee martini or amaretto sour.

Betty by the Beach – Ettalong Beach
Cutest little outdoor cafe – a well kept secret of the locals. Order your coffees and snacks from the vintage caravan then sit and enjoy the relaxing garden atmosphere.

Tropicana Social Club – Woy Woy
The interiors here are to die for – tropical retro Havana heaven. Another well kept secret but the large flamingo doors give it away. The pizzas and cocktails are epic, and the environment is friendly and relaxed. Try the Tony Pepporoni pizza.

Cafe Ronto – Umina Beach
Cute little cafe on West Street, the food is next level. The truffle benedict is something you will think about for weeks after. Great coffee and friendly staff.

Distillery Botanica
A hidden gem. This boutique distillery is tucked away amongst three acres of tranquil gardens which master distiller Philip Moore uses to produce his award-winning spirits and liqueurs. You can walk through the distillery to learn about the distilling process and do a guided tasting. There is also Bar Botanica, a small cocktail bar set amongst the garden which is a perfect place to for an afternoon drink with your people.

Glenworth Valley
Beautiful hinterland scenery that spans across 3,000 acres of privately owned land. A great escape for the family that has something for everyone. You can go on a guided horse ride across the valley, quad bikes, abseiling, Kayaking & Laser skirmish. There are creek front campsites, Glamping tents and self-contained Luxury cabins for a comfier stay.

8 at Trinity
Technically, not the Central Coast but for those who are up for a short drive north to Lake Macquarie, this is highly worth the trip! An architecturally designed pop-up restaurant which overlooks Lake Macquarie’s Trinity Point Marina. It has a bespoke marquee vibe and a really cool atmosphere. The food is excellent, particularly the seafood and has an exceptional wine list to match. Crazy to think that this place will be completely redesigned. Check out the development plans, very cool.
